Human Resources

The world of HR is a busy and challenging one!
Chase and Holland can work with you at any stage of your career within HR whether you are looking to get into the industry or are an experienced individual looking for your next challenge.
We work with businesses across all sectors and sizes. Within the geographical area that we cover (the M1 being a great network for mid England), there are a lot of logistics/distribution, engineering, construction and manufacturing businesses with some big name players amongst these sectors. Many of these businesses offer you as an HR specialist the opportunity to work on a multi site basis thus allowing you the ability to incorporate some travel into your role. However these sectors are by no means the exclusive ones – the area also has a strong retail, professional service and public organisations.
There are many businesses in particularly the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire areas that we work with who have shared service functions and therefore significant sized HR teams. Working in these types of businesses offer really good exposure to different areas of HR and allow you to ‘pool’ resources and share intelligence with other HR people.
On the flip side, we have successfully worked with a number of small to medium businesses whereby there may only be 1 or 2 people within HR, These roles offer an individual some truly rounded HR experience and quite often combine the generalist areas of HR with the more specialist areas such as training and development.
So whichever sector you are interested in, we can help. To date we have worked on a number of roles and have listed below a flavour of these:
Generalist roles:
- Head of HR
- HR Business Partner
- Senior HR Advisor
- HR Officer
- HR assistant
- HR Administrator
Specialist:
- L&D Manager
- L&D Business Partner
- Trainer/Coach
- Payroll Officer
- Recruitment Advisor
- Training Administrator
Many of these opportunities offer study towards the CIPD qualification so there really is no stopping you in your HR career.
