July 2010 - The Football aftermath
The football evening on the 23rd June went really well. We had a superb turnout and although it was REALLY hot in Champs, the free flowing cold beer and drinks seemed to help.
Obviously the result of the evening was the only positive one for England so our timing was great and everyone seemed to have a good time.
We shall name no names as to who was the noisiest client (their name begins with an S) and who may have drunk the most (however name begins with an M – last seen catching a bus about 6.30)
Thank you to a number of the C&H team who spent a lot of the evening ensuring no one was dying of thirst and that clients were able to see the stupendously sized 60” TV (seriously who could miss it)
Everyone entered their name into a draw with the main prize being 50% off their next piece of finance recruitment. At the time of drawing however, 2 names got stuck together so we decided to award two ‘50% off their next piece of recruitment’ prizes and a runner up bottle of champagne.
Thank you to all who coming – we will keep you posted with other events that are in the pipeline.
July sees the arrival of Holly, the newest member of the C&H team.
Holly comes to us as an Economics graduate of 2009 who since graduation has worked within marketing. However she has for a while had a natural curiosity for recruitment and once we had met with her we could see she would be a natural!!!!!
Holly will be joining the Chesterfield division, working particularly closely with Bev on the ongoing development of the Worksop/Doncaster marketplace.
Having successfully completed a recent recruitment programme, we will soon be introducing our newest recruit so watch this space......
In the meantime however we are looking to expand our teams even further and are now on the lookout for the following people. Further information on these roles can be found on the vacancies page on the website:

June 23rd sees Chase and Holland hosting a World Cup event at Champs in Sheffield.
To help celebrate the last of the Group Qualifiers, we will be watching the England v Slovenia game on multiple screens at Champs, the well known sports bar on Ecclesall Road.
Formal invites have now gone out to many of our clients with the tickets including drinks and half time food.

This month sees another addition to the Chase and Holland team.
Welcome to Mark who joins us initially to work with our Chesterfield senior finance team.
Mark joins us with many years recruitment experience – originally from down South (finally, we are balancing out the North/South split in the office!) he has been in South Yorkshire since 2008.
Marks arrival is by no means the last - we still need to grow our teams further so want to hear from talented individuals looking either to continue their career in recruitment or indeed to begin their career in the industry. Don’t forget, we have both the Chesterfield and Derby divisions that need expanding!
