March 2010 - Hello and welcome to Mark

This month sees another addition to the Chase and Holland team.

Welcome to Mark who joins us initially to work with our Chesterfield senior finance team.

Mark joins us with many years recruitment experience – originally from down South (finally, we are balancing out the North/South split in the office!) he has been in South Yorkshire since 2008.

Marks arrival is by no means the last - we still need to grow our teams further so want to hear from talented individuals looking either to continue their career in recruitment or indeed to begin their career in the industry. Don’t forget, we have both the Chesterfield and Derby divisions that need expanding! To find out more about us, our team here and whether Chase and Holland would be of interest to you, please refer to the About Us/Our Team part of the website.

February 2010 - Welcome to our updated website

We hope you like what you see. To date, we have had a lot of positive feedback from candidates and clients about not only the content but also the ease of reading and using our website. Therefore we didn’t want to change too much however we have added a couple of new areas – namely a little more about Chase and Holland and the team and more detailed information about our services for candidates and clients.

Everything else remains the same. As we are always receptive to feedback (good and otherwise) so if you have any comments for us on what you see, please don’t be shy – use the ‘Contact Us’ page to get in touch!

January 2010 - Happy New Year!

Well, we made it through 2009! As many of you will agree it was a hard and challenging year. We came out of it having worked hard to continue to develop our business. So much so in fact that December/January has seen us grow our team here at Chase and Holland HQ.

So who are our new faces?

Damien joins us with a successful background in the Part Qualified/Qualified Finance recruitment world. With over 5 of years experience working within the South Yorkshire/North Derbyshire marketplace, he has a very approachable manner which allows him to easily build relationships with candidates and clients alike.

Sam is here with us to head up and develop our Finance Interims division and again is a proven and highly successful individual in this regard. With over 15 years recruitment experience she works quickly and effectively to provide clients with the best candidate solution for their interim requirements.

Finally, Caroline joins us to work the clerical/junior part qualified patch. Caroline is an accountant by trade but has taken the decision to take her wealth of technical knowledge and move it into a recruitment role (more fool her!). She will be working within our Derby division.

So we welcome these new additions to the Chase and Holland family and thank our existing team for their hard work and commitment in 2009.....

November 2009 - November, November..... where on earth has it gone?

Panic not …………Just when you thought we might have forgotten to update the news page, here we are!

November has been a VERY BUSY month here at Chase and Holland.

A new team member has arrived safely and December will see our team increase even further.

So, next month we will introduce everyone to you all along with our 2010 plans – it is all VERY exciting …… watch this space!

October 2009 - So.....did Bev jump?

After many sleepless nights, the 7th of October dawned – and that could only mean one thing – The Day Of The Skydive!

How untimely though that a couple of nights before the jump Bev accidently flicked over to the ‘Hollyoaks Late’ programme which showed a parachute jump that did not quite go to plan (many of you probably saw it too). You can imagine how this added to her nerves over the next day or two at work!!

However, after us all telling her it would be fine and that she would want to do it again (strange how people say that to try and make you feel better), the sun came out on the big day and of course all went well......she jumped (not much choice really as so many people had sponsored her) and for a short 45 seconds (which may have seemed slightly longer than that to Bev) she flew down towards the ground at 120mph. The skydive in total took about 10 minutes.

And you know what, after all that, Bev has said she would indeed do it again!!!!!!

So from all of us at C&H and all of the family and friends that have sponsored Bev – WELL DONE!!!

She has raised over £500 for the Weston Park Hospital.

To see Bev in full flight copy the following link into your web browser – definitely worth a look!!!
