The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the MD you’ll take full ownership of the day-to-day finance function and play a key role in driving performance and profitability across the site. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and engagement.
- Produce and present monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
- Partner with operational teams to improve margins, cost control and productivity.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
- Support investment appraisals, capital projects, and strategic decision-making.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid post-qualified experience.
- Proven background within manufacturing or a similar complex, product-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen – able to turn numbers into meaningful insight.
- Confident communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally with operations and leadership.
- Hands-on, proactive and solutions-focused with a continuous improvement mindset.
