Senior Management Accountant - Scunthorpe – £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus benefits

Chase & Holland are excited to be working exclusively with a fantastic manufacturing business as they look to strengthen their senior finance team. This is a key role for ensuring all core finance activities are completed to the highest standards and time frames. An exciting vacancy which will have responsibility to produce monthly management accounts for the manufacturing suites as well as driving change and challenging senior management on process improvement.

Senior Management Accountant responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring preparation of full management accounts pack for multiple manufacturing sites, including driving the performance and supporting with decision making
• Weekly flash reporting and factory KPI’s
• Balance sheet reconciliation and control
• Ensuring the completion of all budgeting and forecasting for your manufacturing sites
• Challenging senior management on process improvement and reporting development
• Business partner with manufacturing operational management teams to drive performance
• Cashflow forecasting for the manufacturing sites
• Capex evaluation including supporting with various project activities
• Product costings and BOM management
• Coach and develop junior team member

Required skills and experience:

• Ambitious, driven and proactive qualified accountant (ideally CIMA or ACCA) who wants to make a difference
• Highly experienced similar role within a large manufacturing environment, ideally multisite
• Experienced in ERP systems and Excel
• Strong communicator with both financial and non-financial individuals
• Continuous improvement mentality, identifying and implementing improvements
