Customer Service Specialist – Sheffield –  £28,000 (Hybrid)

Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities:

• Process customer sales orders accurately and within established cut-off times.
• Manage complex customer enquiries, order amendments, and complaints across multiple communication channels.
• Handle all levels of order complexity, including export documentation and certifications.
• Support the onboarding, training, coaching, and development of new Customer Service team members.
• Promote a proactive, collaborative, and positive team environment, including during challenging situations.
• Act as a SME in key projects, including Salesforce, new product launches, export, customer onboarding, warehouse setups, and IT enhancements.
• Attend and contribute to key meetings as required.
• Resolve customer enquiries and complaints in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Support coordination of shipping, production schedules, inventory, and sales activities.
• Prepare and maintain customer correspondence and documentation.
• Build strong customer relationships and liaise with Sales to support customer needs and business growth.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven B2B customer service experience within a similar role
• Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively within a team and build customer relationships
• IT literate and adaptable to new software/systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Sage etc
