Finance Officer Responsibilities:
- Processing accounts payable invoices including preparing regular supplier payments
- Post cash payments to the ledger
- Ensure invoices are approved appropriately
- Assist with raising sales ledger invoices
- Assist with the recording of financial records
- Various reconciliations as part of the month end closedown, including, accounts receivable control account, petty cash reconciliations and other associated balance sheet reconciliations
- Production of schedules as part of the month end process for accrued and deferred income
- Assist in the reconciliation and postings relating to company charge cards
- Support colleagues with ad hoc management information and reporting
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience within a similar varied accounts role
- Confident communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team
- Strong IT and systems skills including basic Excel
