Installations Manager – Rotherham – £40,000 - £50,000

We are working with a well-established manufacturer, distributor and installer within the home improvement sector to recruit an Installations Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced installations professional to take ownership of the end-to-end installation process, supporting installation teams and coordinators while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll oversee active projects, provide technical support, resolve site issues and customer queries, and identify opportunities to improve departmental efficiency. The role will suit a hands-on individual with strong fenestration and construction knowledge who is comfortable combining people management, technical expertise and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Installation Coordinators and oversee the day-to-day installation function
  • Oversee all active installation projects, ensuring they are effectively controlled and progressed
  • Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams and the wider business
  • Approve and order additional products and materials where required
  • Resolve site issues efficiently, including attending site visits where necessary
  • Liaise with internal departments regarding project progress and job statuses
  • Monitor and manage customer debt, taking appropriate action to minimise outstanding balances
  • Resolve customer complaints and disputes professionally and within appropriate timescales
  • Ensure subcontractors adhere to company standards and Codes of Conduct
  • Ensure installation teams have appropriate PPE, uniforms, equipment and materials
  • Act as the main point of contact for the designated Building Control company
  • Identify and implement improvements to installation processes and departmental efficiency
  • Ensure company processes, procedures and regulatory requirements are consistently followed
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and CDM compliance
  • Support the wider Service function when required

About You:


We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Installations Manager with previous experience within an installation environment. You'll be comfortable managing people, dealing with technical issues and taking ownership of problems through to resolution.

You'll ideally have:
  • Previous experience managing installation processes and installation teams
  • Experience within the fenestration industry
  • A strong understanding of construction and associated trades
  • Previous experience completing or overseeing quality fitting and installation work
  • Technical knowledge combined with strong people management skills
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM requirements
  • Experience carrying out site inspections and resolving installation issues
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office
  • A proactive, practical approach with strong attention to detail
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites when required
